No. 3 - Marx Motor Data
The Milliperm
This is the smallest of the Marx motors, a 5 pole motor which is
available in either 6 volt or 12 volt versions.

For the 6 volt Milliperm:
-
No load current @ 6 volts = 0.12 amps
-
Max current @ 6 volts = 0.7 amps
-
Watts = 1.2
-
Efficiency = 45%
-
Recommended controls for one motor: SCT-1L or SCA-1L

Recommended controls for two motors: SCT-2L or SCA-2L

For the 12 volt Milliperm:
-
No load current @ 12 volts = 0.06 amps
-
Max current @ 12 volts = 0.35 amps
-
Watts = 1.2

Efficiency = 45%

Recommended controls for one motor: SCT-0.5H or SCA-0.5H

Recommended controls for two motors: SCT-1H or SCA-1H
The Monoperm
This is a 5 pole motor which is available in 4.8 volt, 6 volt or 12 volt
versions.

For the 4.8 volt Monoperm:

No load current @ 4.8 volts = 0.3 amps

Max current @ 4.8 volts = 2.3 amps
-
Watts = 4
-
Efficiency = 50%

Recommended controls for one motor: SCT-4L or SCA-4L

Recommended controls for two motors: SCA-6.6L

For the 6 volt Monoperm:

No load current @ 6 volts = 0.2 amps

Max current @ 6 volts = 2.0 amps

This a 5 pole motor which is available in either 6 volt or 12 volt versions.

Efficiency = 64%

The Decaperm
This is a 5 pole geared(2.75 to 1) motor which is available in
either 6 volt or 12 volt versions.

For the 6 volt Decaperm:

No load current @ 6 volts = 0.6 amps

Max current @ 6 volts = 7 amps

Watts = 20

Efficiency = 63%

For the 12 volt Decaperm:

The Hectoperm
This is the largest of the Marx motors, a 5 pole geared(2 to 1) motor
which is available in either 6 volt or 12 volt versions.

For the 6 volt Hectoperm:

No load current @ 6 volts = 0.6 amps

Max current @ 6 volts = 8 amps
-
Watts = 30
-
Efficiency = 70%
-
Recommended controls for one motor: SCA-10L

For the 12 volt Hectoperm:
-
No load current @ 12 volts = 0.3 amps
-
Max current @ 12 volts = 4 amps
-
Watts = 30
-
Efficiency = 75%
-
Recommended controls for one motor: SCA-6.6H
